Truthfully, most of the time no. That being said, this is my first deployment so I have the whole “ignorance is bliss” benefit. Of course I do get scared from time to time, but when those moments come I do my best to remember why I’m here and the monsters that we’re fighting, and I can usually turn that fear into some positive adrenaline.

We’ll see, I’m not there yet. I’m probably going to piss my pants first firefight I get into, just sayin’.
